Boston is home to a list of amazing restaurants that make the city a truly exciting dining destination. We invite you to experience it first hand as part of the 2016 Energy Battery Annual Meeting and Convention. From historical locations to classic oyster bars, these are just a few restaurants you can find in Boston during the 2016 EBG Annual Show and Convention.
B&G Oysters
Located in Boston’s South End, B&G Oysters is Chef Barbara Lynch’s modern take on a classic oyster bar and has a decidedly neighborhood vibe, combining friendly service with fantastically fresh oysters from both coasts, inspired seasonal seafood dishes, New England classics including the celebrated lobster roll, and a food-friendly wine list created by Executive Wine Director Cat Silirie. B&G Oysters has received many accolades over the years for its cuisine and wine program from publications including Boston Magazine, Food & Wine, and The Boston Globe.*
“The Bell in the Hand” Tavern
There aren’t many historical sites where you can get a great meal and a cold beer, but you can at the oldest tavern in America. The Tavern has been around since 1795. A gathering place for printers and politicians, sailors and students, it quickly became the most famous alehouse in the city. The name comes from the original owner, Jimmy Wilson, who was Boston’s town crier for fifty years. He was proud of his former occupation and that’s why he called the place the Bell-in-Hand.**
Hotel Dining
The Westin Copley Place offers several different Boston Back Bay restaurants. You’ll find culinary delights and moments to savor. You’ll experience the unforgettable sights, sounds, aromas and flavors that make Fogo such a unique and fun dining experience. Shabumaru brings the finest in hotpot dining to Boston’s Back Bay with a combination of warm tradition and modern culinary sensibilities.
