Japanese technology giant Hitachi has announced it will work with other six organizations and firms to deliver a smart grid demonstration project using hybrid (lithium-ion and lead-acid) battery energy storage system (BESS) in Poland.
The New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization and the Ministry of Energy of Poland have clinched a memorandum of understanding to support the Polish power system security.
